Staged Modifications

Jeff & Jeff Taylor (father & son) purchased their 1993 Vintage Red FD in the summer of 2004. The odometer showed just under 9,000 original miles! They contacted Banzai Racing and requisitioned us to develop a Staged Modification Plan that would ensure reliability while simultaneously upgrading performance and increasing HP.

Stage 1. Early September '04 (OD 9,951); initial work and upgrades included:

• AST Elimination
• HKS Downpipe
• Greddy Airinx Intake kit
• Upgraded Walboro 255LPH HP Fuel Pump
• Autometer Boost Gauge
• New NGK Spark Plugs
• Magnacor 10mm Plug Wires
• Differential & Transmission fluids flush & fill (Red Line MT-90)
• Radiator flush & fill
• Broken/cracked vacuum lines replacement (Hose Techniques Silicone Hose)
• Slave Cylinder rebuild
• Upgraded stainless steel Clutch Lines

Stage 2. Late March '05 (OD 12,408); We performed the following upgrades:

• Racing Beat Dual Tip Catback
• Resonated Midpipe
• Apexi Power FC
• Tuned to 13 psi
