I had my RX7 towed to Banzai Racing because I was unable to get it started. The car cranked but the engine would not run. I thought my rotors were bad. Chris the owner of the shop performed a compression test, and he told me that the compression rate was good. Wow, that was great news because I believed the engine needed to be rebuilt. After he make necessary repairs to my baby, I know it will run better than before. I picked this shop because of the great recommendations, and it is cool that Chris shop is a few hours away from my house.

ordered a set of motor mounts and block off plates and o.m.p delete for a 1987 t2 and the parts arrived quickly and everything was packaged greatly and banzai is an awesome company to work with on your build!!

I am so fortunate to have Banzai Racing only about an hour from me. I had my engine rebuilt by Chris and the engine bay detailed as well. (Elaine's favorite job!) Chris and Elaine make the perfect team to run this business. Both are personable and enthusiastic in what they do. They take the time to listen to what you have to say and have given excellent advice to smaller issues that I have had.

Where to begin? My 1985 GSL-SE came to Chris in July of 2012 on a trailer from Florida with no engine, and no transmission (long story). They both worked with me to come up with a design of a car that was classic first gen on the outside with all of the performance, benefits, fit and finish of a car that could have rolled off the assembly line last week.
One of the best things about working with Banzai is their timely, and thorough communication. I've never had any type of contract work done so well before; updates to the website, emails of photos of parts when they arrived and prompt response to questions.
I'm in the middle of breaking in the new engine, so I'm being gentle with it; but it's clear that this engine just wants to pull and pull while sounding so damn sweet and mellow the whole time.
One of the things that I've learned in this experience is that it winds up being a lot more cost effective to have the right people do the work in the first place.

After a nightmare of a job by a previous shop that blew up my engine, Chris's rebuilt my engine to pure perfection. I couldn't be more happy with Banzai. Chris knows these cars inside and out. I've been around several FD "techs", none compare to Chris's knowledge and attention to detail. I have also bought many products from Banzai with absolutely 0 complaints.
In addition Chris and Elaine are by far the most responsive tandem I have ever dealt with. How they are able to respond so quickly and still run the shop is beyond me. It is also one of the cleanest shops I have ever been to. If you are looking for a Rotary expert, look no futher, Banzai is your shop! A+++++++++ service, quality, and knowledge!

Just writing to say that I got the car and I drove it for the first time, seen it for the first time and I can not tell you how happy I am. Thank you so much for everything. The car is absolutly great. You guys are wonderful. Thank you
Just writing to let you know how happy and grateful I am with the car. I have about 450 miles on it now and the car feels great. It feels a lot stronger than what it did before already and I haven't even boosted it yet. Everything looks great the people that have seen the engine bay are amazed of how clean it looks. I love the car and I'm hoping I can have the 2500 mile by next year so I can get it tune and see what it really has. Thanks again.
